We are a Mexican civil organization formed in 2020 by biologists who, while conducting studies on turtles in several parts of Mexico, realized the great opportunity to engage young people from local communities in scientific activities. We recognized the immense need for financial support among these young individuals to attend school and the necessity of providing them with academic opportunities to develop their potential.
Monitoring and conservation
In this program, we conduct long-term monitoring of various species of terrestrial and freshwater turtles to detect threats to their populations, understand their conservation needs, and implement actions that enable them to thrive in the wild.
scholarships
The Comprehensive Scholar Program aims to assist young individuals from rural areas or with limited resources in completing their secondary or high school education through a monthly scholarship. Additionally, it supports them in developing valuable skills for their future through various hands-on activities, including participation in turtle monitoring.
outreach
Through educational programs, special events, and informative content, we passionately share our knowledge with the public. We inspire others to join our cause, thereby promoting the protection and respect for these species.
